

A Qualitative Partnership Between the Libyan International University and the Military Academy for Security and Strategic Sciences
The Libyan International University (LIMU) strengthened its domestic academic partnerships and enhanced its qualitative cooperation through a high-level visit conducted by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad Ambarek, to the headquarters of the Military Academy for Security and Strategic Sciences on Sunday morning, November 16, 2025.
Delegation and Reception
The University President was accompanied by:

- Prof. Dr. Ali Said El-Bargathy, Vice President for Social Responsibility and Sustainability

- Dr. Hassan Hamid El-Habbouni, Faculty Member at the Academy
The university delegation was received by Major General Aoun Ibrahim, President of the Academy, alongside the Secretary-General, several officers, department heads, and faculty members.
Purpose of the Visit
The visit aimed to closely examine the Academy, its educational system, training and qualification programs, curricula, facilities, and equipment, in order to establish close cooperation between the two institutions.
According to a statement by the Vice President for Learning Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdalla El-Mansoury, the Military Academy for Security and Strategic Sciences is a leading institution in terms of its curricula and structure, possessing high-level expertise and personnel. He noted:
“We witnessed this firsthand, touring facilities equipped with state-of-the-art technology, advanced high-tech lecture halls, hotel-standard student accommodations, and an integrated medical clinic.”
Prof. El-Mansoury added that there will be a broad horizon for cooperation exceeding traditional frameworks, extending to designing joint curricula and programs aligned with the strategic goals of both institutions.

For his part, Major General Aoun Ibrahim emphasized the importance of such agreements in enhancing academic and training performance within the Academy. He expressed full readiness to provide all necessary facilities to achieve the agreement’s objectives, including opening the Academy’s facilities and resources to serve joint programs.
In turn, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad Ambarek expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception, praising the scientific capabilities and advanced organizational structure he observed at the Academy. He affirmed that LIMU places great importance on collaborating with reputable academic institutions and is keen on exchanging expertise and sharing knowledge, adding that the University places all its scientific expertise and capabilities at the Academy’s disposal to achieve its goals.

The signed agreement encompasses joint cooperation across several fields, including:

The visit concluded with the official signing of the agreement and the exchange of commemorative gifts and certificates of appreciation. The University President presented an honorary plaque to the President of the Academy, who in turn presented commemorative gifts and certificates to the university delegation.
