About The Department
The Department of International Relations is dedicated to advancing the university’s internationalization strategy by fostering academic partnerships and collaboration with universities, research institutions, and international organizations worldwide.
Strengthening and coordinating cooperation programs between the university units and the corresponding institutions and related bodies to increase the university\’s competitiveness at the local and regional levels.
Working to activate the agreements of partnership and cooperation with others in order to achieve the goals of the university.
- Identify and develop external strategic opportunities that are consistent with the vision and mission of the university.
- Establishing local and international partnerships.
- Proposing the mechanisms and procedures for following up and activating the agreements.
- Exchange of experiences, consultations and cooperation between the university and local and international organizations and bodies.
- Exchange information, research, studies and references with other entities.
- Supporting the university in creating a database to establish international relations.
- Preparation of memorandums of understanding and agreements.
- Follow up the implementation of the agreements in favor of the university.
- Coordination for the acquisition of the university for relevant academic memberships.
- Supervising the university\’s foreign participation in various activities.
- Follow-up of students who are sent abroad by virtue of bilateral agreements with the university or through programs or grants offered to them through the university.
- Announce and circulate international conferences information to expand utilization within the university.
- Preparation for conferences, seminars, workshops and meetings held by the university with others.
- Provide expertise, advice and help (in coordination with external bodies) to the various departments of the university in the field of academic relations and international cooperation.
