On Monday, September 21, 2020 , the Academic Relations and International Cooperation Department at the university participated in the meeting to lay down the necessary plans to implement the study on the internationalization of higher education in the Euro-Mediterranean region. This study is being conducted with the participation of 10 countries from the Euro-Mediterranean region with 6 Libyan universities participating in this study. The Libyan universities are Benghazi University, Tripoli University, Sebha University, Misurata University, Zawia University, in addition to the Libyan International Medical University. The study aims to monitor the current extent of cooperation between universities in the Euro-Mediterranean region with regards to the exchange of students, academics and other experiences, in order to develop and improve this cooperation in the future.
