Cooperation Agreement Between the Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education and Libyan International University

As part of efforts to support the development of technical and vocational education in Libya, the Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education signed a cooperation agreement with the Libyan International University in Benghazi. The agreement aims to elevate the quality of technical and vocational education and enhance its alignment with labor market requirements, contributing to the preparation of qualified national cadres capable of actively contributing to development.

The agreement focuses on updating and developing academic curricula to match the actual needs of the labor market, alongside supporting training and qualification programs, enhancing joint scientific research, and developing the academic and professional skills of both students and faculty members.

This agreement falls within the Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education’s strategy aimed at unifying efforts with higher education institutions and strengthening institutional partnerships that contribute to integrating technical education with modern industry and technology requirements, thereby supporting the development of the technical and vocational sector in Libya.

The agreement was signed on Sunday, November 26, 2025, at the headquarters of the Libyan International University in Benghazi. The Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education was represented by His Excellency the Minister, Dr. Faraj Khalil Salem, while the Libyan International University was represented by its President, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad Ambarek.
